|The Gloucestershire AAA exists to promote and develop the sport of athletics within the county of Gloucestershire.
Under its banner the many disciplines of athletics are well represented and there is an athletics Club based in almost every part of the County.
The County promotes its own cross country league and road race series every year. The Clubs listed below are currently affiliated to the Glos AAA.
This year for the first time we will be holding a number of disability events as part of our Championships. To qualify for medals in these events athletes must be a member of a club affiliated to Gloucestershire AAA. The disability events on offer are:
Guest competitors are welcome to compete in each of the events on offer but will not be eligible for county medals and should note that their are no prizes for these events. Please ask any guests entering the championships to indicate on their entry form that they are a guest competitor.
Competitors may post their entry form to the Hon Sec in which case (provided entry received prior to 15 August due to me being away from 16-23 August 2014) their number and a timetable will be posted back to them or they may if they wish email their entry form to me at email@example.com and then collect their number from the registration desk on the day and pay when collecting the number. Please publicise this part of the Championships around your respective clubs and we look forward to your support on the day. Thank you for your help with this.
I am happy to have the entry form emailed to me if people wish rather than posted as that seems to help with the pre-entries. Please note that the 3 field events and the 3 sprints are only for disability athletes.Best wishes, Mick Morris Hon Sec Gloucestershire AAA
